SOCIAL SERVICES MINISTRY

Matthew 25:35-36 & Matthew 5:16

Mission - To deliver wrap-around services aimed at providing an improved quality of life to all human kind through three components: Service Provider, Service Advocacy, and Service Management.

For over 15 years Meridian Hill Social Services Ministry has provided the community with tools, wisdom, and resources needed to keep pressed toward the mark of the high calling. Our Social Services Ministry was established with an aim to offer congregants the chance to give back to the community. Each of our ministries is as strong as a family and bring congregants closer together.

OUR GOAL

Sanctify the Words of Jesus Christ

Purposes - We place special emphasis on economic development, building social skills, spiritual enrichment & physical enhancement.

We also, focus on bridging the communication, and relationship gap between diverse cultures. - 35 for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, 36 I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.' Matthew 25:35-36

Vision – The Meridian Hill/Cathedral of Christ Social Service Ministry is the resource, working to provide strongly needed and invaluable services, restore lives, and develop working relationships with neighboring organizations to aid in meeting the total needs of our community. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
